Excellent people to work with. Kurt answered the phone and got quickly back to me within 30 minutes with the best rates for me. I had talked with several medigap companies, and by far Kurt was the most knowledgeable person about medigap plans, strength of the insurance companies, etc. He was also honest. I am a member of USAA, and he advised me to go with USAA and not with his plans because USAA's medigap F plan was $60 less per month. Kurt also clued me in that the reason the J rates of many companies were so low was because J plans were going to be discontinued. He advised me to avoid those plans since without new $money$ coming into a plan, the rates would go up. Summary: These are knowledgeable folks who know medigap and drug plan insurance AND who were looking out for the customer. A welcome change from the way most people do business.

I have been meaning to write and thank you again for helping my husband and myself with our medicare plans. When we signed up for the plan F Richard had seen the doctor 2 months prior to signing up and they hadn't filed with Medicare at that time. When plan F went into effect it picked up that deductible also. I couldn't believe it! The dental,vision and hearing is amazing too. The dental policy said that you have to have it for three months before it pays. Richard had an appointment for a cleaning after we had the policy less than two months and it paid entirely for the cleaning. It said that the first cleaning would be paid in full but we weren't expecting it because he hadn't had the policy long enough. It is wonderful. But the best part is the rx plan. The two prescriptions that we have to fill locally every month were $15.00 plus some change and $49.00 plus some change. Now, $4.00 each! I ordered two prescriptions from Medco last night. One was $28.90 for a three month supply and the other was $130.76 for three months on his previous plan. On the new plan $8.00 each. The savings on the drugs pays for the rx plan with money left over. I am so glad that we found you!!! Thanks again for all your help. Richard and Sue C TX P.S. After selling our place in New York, and getting kicked out of our Secure Horizons by United Health Care due to change of address, we were mired in the medicare web pages trying to figure out what plan and which Medigap insurance plan was best for us when we finally found Carol and Kurt. I am only 55 and eligible for Medicare because of Disability. Imagine my shock when I found out that NO ONE wants me! Policies for those of us Under 55 are NOT cheap and easy to find as if I was just turning 65. It happened a little more than a year ago when I turned 65 and was greener than grass. I was on the internet soliciting help from supplemental insurance brokers to "please" respond with a quote. With no luck, with no luck, I kept at my quest. Low and behold, I had one response out of the more than 50 e-mails that I had sent. I was looking for someone who sold a reasonably priced policy, patient with a beginner, wasn't after the mighty $$$ and most of all a person who would be willing to explain slowly my questions due to "just arriving to "SENIOR HOOD".
